Personal Care Services
Medically necessary assistance with activities such as personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, feeding, and nutritional and environmental support function tasks.
Attendant Care
Services that involve personal and medically oriented tasks dealing with the functional needs of the participant. These services may include personal care and medical tasks that can be done by unlicensed persons, or delegated to an unlicensed person by a licensed health care professional.
Companion Care
In-home services to ensure the safety and well being of a person who cannot be left alone because of frail health, a tendency to wander, inability to respond to emergency situations, or other conditions that would require a person on-site. The service provider may provide occasional assistance with toileting, personal hygiene, dressing and other activities of daily living. However, the major responsibility is to provide companionship and be there in case they are needed.
Homemaker Services
Assistance to the participant with light housekeeping, laundry and assistance with essential errands, meal preparation and other light duties if there is no one else in the household capable of performing these tasks.
